Returns & Refunds Policy
Last updated: 7 August 2026
We want customers to be comfortable ordering from Footnity.
For that reason, we offer a 30-day return period.
1. 30-Day Returns
You may request a return within 30 days of receiving your order.
This applies to eligible full-price and discounted footwear unless a specific legal exception applies.
To start a return, email:
Include:
- your name;
- order number;
- the item you wish to return; and
- where helpful, the reason for the return.
You do not need to provide a reason when exercising a statutory cancellation right.
2. Return Address
Do not return products to our business address unless we specifically tell you to do so.
Our return facilities may differ depending on the product or fulfilment route.
Contact info@footnity.uk and we will provide the correct return instructions and return address.
Requiring you to contact us for the correct return location does not remove or restrict your statutory right to cancel an eligible order.
3. Trying On Footwear
You may inspect and try on footwear in a reasonable way, similar to how you would try footwear on in a physical shop.
We recommend trying shoes on indoors on a clean surface.
For change-of-mind returns, products should where reasonably possible be returned:
- clean;
- with all components supplied;
- in the condition in which they were received; and
- with original packaging where available.
Your statutory rights do not automatically disappear merely because packaging has been opened.
Where goods have been handled beyond what is reasonably necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning, we may reduce a refund to reflect any reduction in value where permitted by law.
4. Statutory Cancellation Right
For eligible online purchases, UK consumers generally have the right to tell us that they wish to cancel within 14 days after receiving the goods.
After notifying us of cancellation, the goods should normally be sent back within a further 14 days.
Our 30-day return policy gives you additional time and does not reduce this statutory cancellation right.
5. Return Shipping Costs
For a standard change-of-mind return, you are responsible for the direct cost of returning the product unless we tell you otherwise.
If the product is:
- faulty;
- damaged on arrival;
- materially not as described; or
- the wrong product,
we will cover reasonable return costs where required by law.
There is no restocking fee.
6. Faulty or Incorrect Goods
If there is something wrong with your product, contact us at:
Products must comply with applicable UK consumer law.
Where goods are faulty, not of satisfactory quality, not fit for purpose or not as described, you may have statutory rights to a refund, repair or replacement.
These rights are separate from our 30-day change-of-mind policy.
7. Refunds
Once the returned goods have been received, or where applicable once satisfactory evidence of return has been provided, we will process the refund within the timeframe required by applicable law.
Where the statutory cancellation right applies, refunds are generally made within 14 days after we receive the returned goods or satisfactory evidence that they have been sent back, whichever occurs first where applicable.
Refunds are normally issued to the original payment method.
Your bank or payment provider may require additional time to display the refund.
8. Original Delivery Costs
Where required under UK cancellation law, we will refund the cost of the least expensive standard delivery method offered for the order.
If you chose a more expensive premium delivery method, we are not required to refund the additional premium amount where the law permits.
9. Exchanges
Where stock allows, we may be able to assist with a size or product exchange.
If a direct exchange is not practical, we may ask you to return the original product for a refund and place a new order.
Your statutory rights remain unaffected.
10. Order Cancellation Before Dispatch
If you wish to cancel an order before it has been dispatched, contact:
as soon as possible.
We will attempt to stop fulfilment, but cannot guarantee that an order can be intercepted once processing has started.
If the order has already been dispatched, you may use the applicable return procedure after delivery.
11. Sale Items
Unless clearly stated otherwise or a legal exception applies, sale and discounted items are covered by the same statutory consumer rights as other products.
